How to Play?

The game’s premise is simple: You are either a hero (goose) or a villain (duck). (Yes, the fearsome feathered friends known as geese are the heroes in this game.) The number and type of ducks vary depending on the mode and your chosen roles.

Other birds–dodos and pelicans–may join the game, but we'll get to them later. The main thing to remember is that, as a goose, you must find and vote out the fake duck (or ducks) before they kill you. As a duck, you must sneakily eliminate as many geese as possible while doing tasks on a list.

Ducks' goal is to eliminate all non-ducks so that they have more votes than the rest. They can do this by killing a goose during a round or making the others vote out a harmless goose between rounds. Ducks can also mess up different things on each map. Some mess-ups are minor, while others, known as critical mess-ups, need players to fix them. The ducks win by default if the time runs out on a critical mess-up.

The geese have two ways to win: either finish all their tasks before the ducks do or vote out all the fake birds before they get killed or messed with by the ducks. They also have to do this before any other player achieves their goal. Who are these other players? I’m happy you’re curious.

The level of strategy comes when you assign roles to different characters. Here are the significant roles.

• Adventurer – The best, in our opinion, as it is immune to sabotages, one of the enemy's best weapons.
• Astral – If you like spying, then astral is your role as it can easily see through walls and observe ducks.
• Bodyguard – This role can protect any target they assign themselves to. Unfortunately, they can target only one protection at a time.
• Lover – You can attach to one other character, and both have to survive to win the game. If one of you dies, both die.

Many more roles in the game get unlocked the more you play the game. It is an excellent mystery to unravel as you enjoy playing the game.

Pros

Cons

• Some players might find that Goose Goose lacks the depth and complexity of other multiplayer games. The simplicity of this gameplay may lead to a repetitive experience over time.
• As with many online multiplayer games, they risk encountering toxic behavior from other players. Negative interactions or trolling can be detected from the overall experience in a game heavily reliant on social interaction.
